Why She?

Hanna, near 8 months old

Only a couple of weeks to go and summer is over. To what I learned till now is that many love songs were written in and about September. This is the month that one is reminiscing about the special summer love; be it broken hearts, be it going steady. But also about the beautiful days, the glory of nature, and having holidays.
September is the month for harvest festivals and preparing for autumn.
Well, for a little Chow girl being near 8 months old this is all very new. At my age you have lots of expectations.
Just 'recovered' from being in season, everything is more or less normal again at the place I'm living.
I can even be freely in the yard again without becoming disturbed by the avances from Kiang or whining male dogs in our neighbourhood. September.......and little birds flying on own wings....and puppies growing up.

Hanna and Shadow

But what about my holidays? In May I was found too young to join the two-legged ones to Vienna, but a kind of promises were made 'for next time'. Ooooh, how was I shocked to learn that my half-sister was allowed to join the two-legged ones to Switzerland for a short break. Xiong!!! :and the way she teased me with the fact that I had to stay home. Oooh, I cried and cried and was devestated. The only good news was that my father felt sorry for me and comforted me. Yes, Me and my Shadow or my father and me. He protects me and is always near me. A month ago you could forget that. Is it because I'm a big girl now? Look on the right...... My father is a great -care taking - Chow. But in the meantime Xiong was 'out and about' in Switzerland. WHY SHE?? and why I had to stay home with my father and Kiang and Frank Willem?

Xiong in Rebstock

Look on the left. There Xiong is ' high and dry' looking down. That is the hotel she stayed (Rebstock in Rorschacherberg). Dogs allowed....at least Chow Chows! They stayed for a long weekend, there near the Bodensee. In the Image Galery the several pictures are giving an impression about the wonderful time they had.
From the Rheinfall, Stein-Am-Rhein to Sankt Gallen and having some parties with friends.  Pictures were also made from several sand-scultures there in Rorschach. It was quality time in all aspects. In spite I was still very angry on Xiong, I listened to all her stories and viewed the many exciting pictures. Of course I understand it was not her fault why being chosen to have a nice time in Switzerland.
I made a promise to myself.... Next time, it is my turn! Let me be very clear!

Yes, it is me!

I'm Hanna

But the one below is my (half) sister Xiong. She is tired.......
