To what I experience the month December is a strange month. It is still dark when I go out with my family for the daily 'first' round doing business and it is also dark when we go for the 'last' round in the evening. I prefer daylight. When it is dark I have to be much more alert. There are shadows......and that is so creepy... Not Shadow..., no, no. My father is always there to comfort me and make me easy on myself.
When I go for a walk (four times per day) it is alternated with whom I'm going. It can be Kiang, my best friend, Xiong, my lovely sister, or Shadow, my dearest father. The best is with my father. He is very straight and showing all those coming near to us, that he is the boss. It feels so safe; also against all the 'Shadows' in the evening....
Shadow...Shadow.......
He turned 9 years old on December 15, 2009. My father. Yes, my father. He is so strong and such a beauty. He is a Chow of my heart.
Look on the right.... How proud. The mighty Shadow!
Yes, we had a party at our place and Shadow got several cards, good wishes and 'junk-food' . We all love that. Did I tell you that in my blog about the coffee time we all have with each other?
I guess not. After the early morning walk (between 6 and 6.30) we have breakfast. After the breakfast Peter cleans the dishes, while we take a nap. Helma is always upstairs cleaning the house. After the dishes he brews the coffee and loud near the stairs he shouts" Coffee Time!" Well, and that is time we gather around Helma and Peter. There are little dried meat pieces...... Delicious..... Whooow, he always says: "Chow Chows have to be spoiled!"
On the picture on the left you see Shadow and my sister Xiong. Shadow's birthday... That picture was taken early morning when Shadow came back from his early morning 'business walk'.
He tried to stumble in sneaky.....in order nobody would notice...and he could lay down quietly on his place near the cupboard. Xiong is so very straight forward....
Shadow smiled and said to her: "Aaah, you have not forgotten my birthday. You are a good girl!"
What a day it was and Xiong and I got nicknamed: "Party-Girls". Are we?
In the Image Gallery, below, more pictures on the birthday party can be found.
Talking about Party-Girls. On December 17, 2009 Tippa in Austria had her birthday too. "Girls, wanna have fun!"
The year is coming to an end......and it is Christmas Time. Looking back to my first year in the Chow World and sharing with you through my Blog all what I'm experiencing nd discovering.
Counting the days for this year and making up my Chow-Mind for 2010.........and having a wish.........

Ooh, and what an excitement. Snow, snow......
