Out and about

Hanna and TJ

It is begin of May 2009 and I'm now 15 weeks old. Whooow, what a week.
At the puppy class it is big fun. I'm good friends with CJ, a Schipperke Dog.
We are now with 4 puppies, but I have to admit that CJ stole my heart.
I think I'm the best pupil and quickly learning.
Who is saying that a Chow Chow is stubborn and hardly able to be teached?
Not me!
This week I was at the Kion Dog Training center for the 4th. time.
Each week is a new experience. You remember when I reported about the Lama's last week?
Hmmmm, in the meantime I learned that these were no Lama's but Alcapa's. Initially I thought they were Aliens.

Well, and next to the puppy class I was taken out 'down town'. Was that really 'Out and about'? Or was that intended to have me more social contacts and getting acquainted being in the crowd?

Helma and Hanna

Look here. Helma and I sitting outside a restaurant and watching people walking by. All these 'ooh's and aah's' and 'what a little doll' !
Yes, I was the 'talk of the town'.
So it was not us 'watching people walking by', but them 'watching us'!
People wanting to hug me, but I was cautious. Logic. isn't it?
Humans should learn that one should approach a dog carefully and making himself small. Not from above and hands coming down on top of a dog's head. Yes?
Good to have Helma around and she explained to the people how they should come near to me.

Maja and Hanna

When we walked in the shopping street we met all kind of people.
Look here. Isn't that lovely?
That woman in the wheelchair is Maja.
Maja lives in our neighbourhood and she always waves to me.
Oh, how nice we met her in town.

Hanna and Lingerie

There was, of course, much more to see and we went also shopping.
Some magazines were bought and when we passed a lingerie shop a woman just came outside and stepped to me.
"I was looking for socks, but nothing there for me!"
Hmm, I thought, why there?

And suddenly I got a brilliant idea:
"What about a nice red lingerie set for me in order to impress CJ, the Schipperke, next time at puppy class?"

Yes, it is me!
I'm Hanna.
