Give Me A Break!

Hanna on front

How time flies! It is autumn and mother Nature is dressed in beautiful colours and preparing for winter.
Look at me on the left. Don't you think I'm a big girl now? I'm near 9 months old now.
On my last blog I wrote about the Young Dog Day. That was a very nice event and I met there several beautiful Chow Chows. As you know I'm the youngest in the family and it is simply not fair that I'm not taken to all the special Chow events. A week ago there was a Chow Chow Beach Walk in Noordwijk. And know what? Again Kiang.....! The scene was the Northsea and lucky he; The weather was just fine. The day before there was a heavy storm and lots of rain. But not that day.....Yes, some fading storm and a cool, typical Dutch sky with these special clouds.

Beach Party

More than 25 Chow Chows were present, as Kiang told me later.
Look, how the wind is playing with the beach walkers and moving the clouds!
I have to admit having been very jealous with Kiang. This event would have been something for me. I have never seen the Dutch coast yet! But okay, as usual I argued a lot. But it didn't help much. I'm pretty sure this will be a discussion item next time when we are in obedience class again (Ja, ja, back in training at Kion).
To what Kiang told it was a great time and the beach walk took about a 90 minutes. The waves must have been impressive and there were even Chows who went for wet paws!

Misty and Kiang

Kiang met Misty! Misty is a smooth, blue coloured Chow Lady and sister of our Xiong. Misty is the daughter of my father (Shadow) and Susie and is a 3 years old. So, I'm Misty's half-sister.
Look how Kiang and Misty are flirting with each other! That cannot be. He is much too young for her.
What to say about him. Well, at least they were leashed... Oooh, look good! Misty was NOT leashed!
That Chow Chow Beach Walk event was a real success and when Kiang came home he was exhausted and felt asleep, while I was waiting for the whole story.

Tolhuis

Not funny....
A couple of days later the idea was vented to have a little cultural tour to Gorinchem (NL) and making some pictures. Imagine, they wanted to take Kiang again. Well...'give me a break!'
That simply cannot be. I decided to be very obedient, nice and friendly. For every little thing simply waiting and watching the eyes of my boss till he or she agreed. Oooh, that worked out fine.
Yes, I was allowed to join!
See on the right. There I am. A proud Chow Lady. You can see the famed St. Jans Tower and on the right a part of the so called Tolhuis.
We walked through the centre of Gorinchem and Peter took the opportunity to shoot several pictures.
In the Image Gallery you can see several shots.
See yah next time!

It's me!
Yes, I'm Hanna
