Hanna, Speechless Eyes

I'm now 6 months old, growing very well and becoming a handsome looking lady. At least that is what they say about me. I have still my puppy coat. Every Sunday it is groomig time and be it Shadow, Xiong, Kiang or me, we all are thoroughly groomed and inspected. To be honest, I don't like it yet. Probably due to my puppy coat since it is firm and thick. On the other hand laying there on the floor and getting all attention is fine too. You know, when grooming is done I get a little treat and a snack is always delicious.
During the week a simple brush or comb is doing the job too, but much less intensive then on the Sundays.
Last week Sunday the grooming took much longer. On the Monday I learned why!

Me, surrounded by Xiong and Kiang

......Peter had his birthday, as you remember! July 13. Flowers for him?
The weather was very good and we all gathered in the garden around the table where people were sitting and enjoying the drinks and food. Oh, how bad......nothing for us, while we waited for things falling off the table or spontaneous people giving us a little to eat. No, nothing at all. We didn't even begg.... and patiently we waited and waited.
See the picture on the right side: Me, Xiong on the left and on the right Kiang. Shadow was up front and keeping an eye on the fence for cats and strangers. So you cannot see him in the picture. He wants to be the Alpha. Doesn't he?

Hanna and flowers

It was a special and also busy week for the family.
Special, since on July 15, now 4 years ago, my grand father passed away. Also special that on July 16, now a year ago, my beloved (half) sister crossed the Bridge. She was only 4 years old.
Flowers are always considered being able to illustrate the warmness and emotions. There is a slogan in the Netherlands: "Flowers Love People!"
But what about Chows? I learned also: "Chow Chows Love People!"
So look at the picture on the left. There is me with a nice bouquet of flowers.

Shadow and Flowers

In the garden is a place where the ashes from Sir Beer, Pau Lin and Kaya are buried. On that place there are always flowers and when one of the late Chow Chows is memorized a special bouquet is placed there in addition.
It is Shadow who knew all three:  Beer, Pau Lin (his father) and his daughter Kaya. See him here with in the back the bouquet covering the grave of the three.
Putting flowers there is a kind of tradition and valued Tribute for some fine Chow Chows.. In the image gallery below you can find different pictures with Chows and flowers.
Flowers are always a nice background for photo shoots with Chow Chows. In fact you place the wonderful Chow Chow in a 'living' and beautful, warm, background.

"Chows and Flowers...Both Love People and Both Are Loved By People!"

It is me!
I'm Hanna

See yah next time!
