Chow Chows and Soccer

Hanna Relaxing
Hanna is relaxing and having her opinion ready for all who wanna know!

There is the 2010 FIFA World Cup TM Soccer taking place in South-Africa. As you can imagine that event -lasting for a couple of weeks - has an impact on us Chow Chows.
When there is a match it is quiet in the streets and everybody is watching television. No time for us Chow Chows; at least less time. Humans should realize that most Chow Chows love playing with balls! But more about that later…..
Anyway……. It took too long to update my Blog. But here we are. June turned out to be a busy month., although with lots of pleasure!
There was the courtesy visit to Ted Beverdam, a Dutch Chow Lover, and meeting up with her little boy Bram. In the image gallery there is a picture of him. We got also a nice picture from Judith Abma with Xiang 'sheltering from the sun'. Xiang is Xiong's brother! Look at him in the image gallery too.

Xiong, an orchid and cake
Xiong is showing clearly what she prefers!

There were several birthdays which needed our attention. Our good aunty in Austria, Miss NetChows.com, celebrated her birthday and of course she got a nice card from me.
Also Xiong paid attention to her birthday. See on the right where Xiong likes to tell something about what is more tasty…..
Gilrs love flowers, but like tasty things too. How can a girl resist a yummy, yummy sweet cake with whipped cream?
Yes, yes, "girls wanna have fun"… That slogan stays forever.
Xiong and I have lots of fun together and regular tease either Kiang or our father Shadow; but both is also possible. We keep them busy. Xiong and I sleep always together in the entrance hall, while Shadow and Kiang share the garage. Kiang prefers to sleep in the bench. The living is kept 'neutral'. During the nights and at absence of our humans we are not allowed to be together. The reasons are quite logic. Do I need to explain that to you "Chow" experts?.......
Imagine when there is a stranger knocking on the door...or that we just get the idea to play around and re-arrange the furniture?

Xiong as keeper
Xiong is the best ball-catcher around. She is a star-player!

I started this Blog with the theme on the 2010 FIFA World Cup TM Soccer in South-Africa and the impact on us Chow Chows. Here in the Netherlands lots of "Orange" is found. In the image gallery you can see a 'dressed' street. Here at our place in particular we feel bad with all the humans sitting behind the television. There is much less attention for us Chow Chows.
Star Players? What about Star Players. Isn't it time that both Netchows.com and ChowChow.at pay more attention to Chow Chows 'teaming-up' in a Chow Chow Soccer League? Look on the right and see my half-sister as 'lady'  keeper. She is really good! See more pictures on her and on 'our' team in the image gallery.
Fortunately on the BlueTongueTalk forum a Topic is opened " I Wanna Play Soccer! " Yes, Chow Chows need a full focus. They can play the ball very hard, if they want! I'm expecting lots of contributions on that Topic. Chow Chows, you have a go!

Helma and Hanna waiting
Helma and Hanna. "Yes, Chow Chows are very social"! Together out. Together home! Waiting for Kiang.....

Yes, I can be very nasty, but on the other hand I'm very social too. Take our daily walks. We go out four times per day. That starts early morning, at noon, end of the afternoon and late evening. Most of the time I walk together with Kiang. Helma has me on the leash and Peter Kiang. The afternoon walk is a long walk and good for our muscles. There is a nice place which goes up-hill. Kiang loves it. I don't..... I prefer taking with Helma the short-cut.  Well, see on the left how social I am. At the cross-point where both ways meet again, I patiently wait for Kiang and Peter. No chance that I walk further from there without Kiang and Peter....... We are family and rely on each other. Well behaved, trained and in a good condition....

It says something..... Yes, we Chow Chows are fair; we are team-players and ready for the soccer final....

See yah, next time!
It's me..
I'm Hanna!
