It is June 14, 2009 and I'm nearly 5 months old now.

Look at me and when you compare previous pictures which were on my blog you can see me growing. Yes, I'm doing very well. Thank you for asking!Since a couple of weeks I'm changing teeth. It hurts a bit, but now crunching on a bone is helping a lot. It seems to be a sport for humans to collect my released teeth.
Changing teeth is part of the 'growing process'. From puppy to youngster and from youngster to an adult Chow. Up we go!
People and other dogs having seen me all say; "You are a future promise!"
Past, present and future......... The timeline in life..... Is that the Circle Of Life?

Some of you know that Kiang regular could be found in a residential care home visting 'Oma'. Oma is Dutch for 'grandmom'. Oma loved to hug Kiang and Kiang, in return, always was licking her arms and hands. Kiang was reminding her to the good old Beer. Beer had a similar look as Kiang. Beer and Oma were two of a kind! He was often found on Oma's couch when the family visited her. A thing which wasn't allowed at home. But with Oma everything was possible.
Kiang brought Oma always big smiles. For her Kiang was her 'Beertje'.
On March 18, I was visting her too. One day after I arrived at my new owner's place. Look at the right side. That picture was made while she celebrated her 97th. birthday! That was one of the last pictures ever made from her.
With sadness I have to share with you that 'Oma' passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2009. Of course she reached a respectful age, but nevertheless she is missed by all those having known her.....

Time........
I'm young and I'm pretty and have lots of fun. No concern about tomorrow.
The young ones.....and that is what I have in common with Kiang and so we are called; The Young Ones.
You can find us often together playing or napping 'side-by-side' in the kitchen or living.

Kiang is a good friend for me. With a bit of luck he might join me going to puppy class next week.
Of course he is not a puppy anymore, but sure the trainer will have some time for him too.
