Hanna is a Big Girl now and these weeks she is having a new experience.
She is 7 months old and confused since she noticed that male dogs, also her father Shadow and cousin Kiang, were not allowed to come too near since being in heat.
Time to have a reflection.........and see how it all started....and something about a kind of Chow Mission.....
A little poem dedicated to Hanna.....
There was love, my little girl
There was passion
Two hearts that were meant to be
For that joy that passed, something beautiful remained to see!
The dawning of the morning
there by the magnificent dunes and sea
makes one thankful for that beauty
where in spring and summer flowers use to be.
A new life, so little and fragile
Being nourished and cherished with love
All moms’ care that could be taken
assuring to give you more than enough.
The first time that I saw you, my little girl
the first time that we met
something magical happened
I will never, ever forget.
Your little paw in my hand
Your twinkling eyes so cute
It brought so much excitement
That feeling, that was good.
Now you are here with us to stay
Together and feeling strong
The youngest from us all
A solid family you belong.
Your father is like a Shadow over you
He always cares and is around
Protecting you from any danger
No better father can be found.
Growing up that goes with pain
Wondering what it will be
Will you be a famous star?
Or be a simple soul as me?
Know that Show is always Show
And being judged by whom for what?
Know that more important always is,
a friendly warm character, which you got.
Make the difference; shine a little love to all
And……Flavour the world a little better
‘The Lord is Gracious’……That is in your name.
There is a precious little Chow
That Chow is you, dear Hanna!
Go for it!
