Rock The Rugs!

It is February 21, 2010

Thank you for asking! Yes, I’m completely recovered from the bladder infection. The antibiotic and special diet did a good job. I'm very okay again as you will 'see' later...

Hanna and Xiong on the new carpet

Yes, with Xiong (for those who still don’t know, Xiong is my half-sister) it is going well too. In the last article I wrote that I had some problems with her. That is more or less over now. Together we have lots of fun again, except when there is something to eat. That are moments we better cannot be near each other.
Look on the left. There we are; me and my big sister!
Some call us 'two-of-kind'! I really don't know why? From Texel (an isle)? The place where tulips and daffodils are grown? The place Xiong and I were born?

Little green tops

Winter time took rather long this year. It regular snowed and it was freezing. I wonder what can be expected still. Since last week it is thawing and the snow disappeared. The garden (the grass) is not looking nice and is in need for a special treatment. On the border sides ……..yes, yes…..several bulbs start to sprout. Spring is nearly here?
Oooh, hopefully the little green plants don’t freeze….. Look those tiny green tops unprotected....so fragile now...
We want to have tulips and daffodils blooming in spring! That is Dutch. Is it not?
Nothing better than a time of the year where birds sing and trees and plants turn green and…..Chow Chows can run……..

The whole family

It is a kind of custom that people, when spring is near, start cleaning there house and where necessary do maintenance and/or a re-furnish and re-paint what needs to be painted. Making things 'spic and span' again.
It happens here too!
When you looked well in the first picture with me and Xiong and you know a little how the house looks like, than…..
You should have noticed the beautiful carpet…..
Look on the left now and see more. Yes, three new carpets in the living. Special carpets! Oriental rugs….
Do we, Chow Chows, like a change?
That is a very good question.
We only accept new things when our odour is part of it. So…….?
When you scroll down there is a little video where you can see how Kiang and I had an inauguration of the Oriental rugs….. 'Rock The Rugs……'.

Hanna and Kiang, special

Yes, Kiang and I are the youngsters and you can find us regular together.
When it is time to run, we run and when it is time to nap, we nap and when it is time to have joy, we have fun… Simply have a look on the right. There we are.
Not saying I have no fun with my sister or father. Of course I have too. I’m easy going (except when I’m eating…).
Remembering the story of last time about Damien and Kiang (School Is Out)?
Pictures will be made soon: Damien and his friend Kiang. Stay tuned!
Sure you wonder why Kiang had opened his mouth for me? He simply wanted me to have a look to his big mouth. Yes, he has a big mouth, but a very small heart! He is the cutest Chow around, I can tell you.

Hanna and her coat colour

And now a special carpet picture with me. See how the colour of my coat really fits to that of the rug.
In the image gallery more pictures of us and the rugs can be found.
See me and see how we all get that good feeling and touch with the Oriental rugs.
There is also a picture with the old situation and so the old carpets.
A different style and a different class.
When the old carpets were removed I had something like; "Humans, why are you always on the move and changing things?"
The living was fine and why should you renew?
Because spring is coming?
Oh dear, yes.......that's it......!
But, but true, I have to admit.......the new carpets are fine.....Oriental rugs they are....and Chow Chows come from China.....
Spring is coming......
It’s the time of the year of expectations. Aren’t we all a little preparing and waiting for spring and summer?
"Rock The Rugs…..!"

See yah
It’s me,
I’m Hanna!
