This morning I looked at the Chow Chow Calender and saw a beautiful Chow standing in the snow. I just wondered what snow exactly is. In my life (I'm now almost 10 months old) I have never seen snow. Time flies. The year 2009 has only a 6 weeks to go. Christmas time is coming near and to what I understand is that family gathering is important then. Family life.......
But have a look first on the left...., Yes, that is me in the garden together with my father Shadow. I love to be outside and also to play with toys, but with my half-sister Xiong too. But what about playing in the snow? Rain...no, sunshine fine... : Wish there would be snow and freezing weather like on the 2009 November page of the Chow Chow Calendar...... I'm impatient......
Maybe with Christmas? Christmas Time....Family Time .....Time Of The Year...Also For Chow Chows. Talking about family being together.... Outside snow and inside..... Hmmm, .....cosy moments with friends, family and Chows.... That's it!
Last week there was a family gathering at our place and with quite some pride I like to introduce some people you don't know yet. Look at the picture on the right.
From left to the right: There is, of course, me. And in front of the couch there is Kiang. On the couch from left to right. There is Tjerk, Helma and last but not least Wieke. Tjerk is the 4.5 years old grandson of Helma and Peter and Wieke is their daughter-in-law...... But to whom is Wieke married?
Good question....the answer will follow. But first about the painting on the wall. Do you see that Chow-Head? That is from the famed Chow Chow "Pau Lin". Pau Lin is my grandfather! Now you know from whom I got that look. I showed you that before. But so nice now to see him in the 'family gathering'....
Now the answer to the question to whom Wieke is married.....

From left to right: There is Peter, Tjerk, Frank Willem and me.
Peter and Frank Willem are the sons of Peter and Helma. Peter is called "Peter Junior".
Peter Junior is married to Wieke and Tjerk is their son. Don't you think he is a cute boy?
Yes, I like him very much and he me. But I have to admit the others like him very much too. The only problem with him: he doesn't like crunching bones like Xiong, Kiang and I love to do (I'm not talking about my father in that respect).
But you cannot have everything. Do you?
