Now the days are noticeable getting longer and the nights shorter we know that spring is coming near. Nature slowly awakes from a deep winter sleep. People get affected with a virus……cleaning and refreshing in and around the house. For Chow Chows such an activity is not necessary and only disturbing a lot. From my wise father I learned that kids and dogs are not always a good match.
Of course I got socialized and trained and learning a lot how to behave under different circumstances; being an obedient Chow Chow. Parents not always educate their children well when it is about dogs. The good news is…there are great exceptions and in which dogs can play an important role too. Take Kiang……. So yes, I encourage you to read the blog “School Is Out!”

Hanna turned 1 year old on January 16, 2010. Of course a special event....and a reason for a party..."Hanna's Party" !

A new year has started and Hanna will turn one year old on Janaury 16, 2010. Time flies. She is growing up and that isn't easy when you have a sister like Xiong who is teasing you all the time. The year is ending soon. December is always a special month; preparing for X-Mas and for all the family and friends: the goodies. Being together with the ones you have a friendship and/or the beloved ones.
For Hanna, the Chow Chow, this is all very new. She celebrated her father's birthday and is noticing that all are so busy. And there was her first "Close Encounter with snow"......
